Radost FX

Near the metro and tram stop I.P. Pavlova you can find Radost FX, a club, lounge ánd vegetarian restaurant.

The restaurant is devided into three areas: the cafe, the lounge and the gallary. All three areas offer the full vegetarian menu.

The cafe is first seen from outside. When you go in, it feels like entering a living room, with an antique style.

When you pass the cafe, you will enter the lounge. This part of the restaurant has a warm and oriental style.

The gallery was named so, because it once served as an actual gallery for local artists to display their work. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings this part of the restaurant has 2 live DJ’s.

The menu contains dishes from Italy, Greece, India and Mexico, among others. They also have an impressive list of burgers. It's a good idea to look at the weekly menu before going to Radost. For one because you get some dishes off the menu, but also because making a choice can take some time once you are in the restaurant. There are simply too many lovely dishes!

Having tried two different starters and five different main courses, I must say all the food is wonderful! The portions are mostly huge (hooray for half portions of some of the dishes) and even the side dishes that they serve are well thought of and taken care of.

Next to the fresh watermelon juice they serve (this is a seasonal offer), they also have lovely Heavenly Healthy Shakes, made with yogurt. Next to that, they serve lots and lots of cocktails.

Because the main courses are so big, I did not order dessert yet, but with names as "Outrageous Double Chocolate Layer Cake" and "Every Rabbit’s Dream Carrot Cake" this must also be a delight.

On the weekends they also serve a brunch that begins at 10:30AM. The menu contains dishes like omelettes, bagles and waffles.

My advise: when you are in Prague and want to eat some great (vegetarian) food, go to Radost FX!
