Gopál

Nerudova (Royal Way or Kings Road) is the historic street linking the Charles Bridge to Prague Castle. About 2/3 up the road on the right you can find Gopál Restaurant, hidden behind an art gallery/souvenir shop.

Gopál is a vegetarian restaurant with Indian influences, run by the Hare Krishna. Gopala is the infant/child form of Lord Krishna; the Cowherd Boy who enchanted the Cowherd Maidens with the divine sound of his flute, attracting even Madana - the Hindu God of love and passion.

The menu is different every day, containing soup, sabja, rice, pasta, salad, halva, yogurt with fruit and chutney. All the veggies and dairy are organic. They work with an all you can eat buffet for 180 CZK. It is also possible to order the menu to be delivered at your home or office.

In the summer it is also possible to sit outside, in the courtyard.
