This castle/chateau at Troja is well known, but it also has a large landscaped garden and maze.
The chateau, garden and maze are all worth a view. Take some time to walk around and find the orchards in the maze.
I was here today, when there happened to be the annual Trojské vinobraní (Trojan vintage). That was a wonderful surprise! The vintages in Czech Republic are in September and normally take place in the area that produces the Czech wine, Moravia, but it found its way to Prague too. At the vintages you can find lots of wine, but also burčák: the product of fermented freshly pressed grape juice. Absolutely worth a try, even if you don't really like wine!
Due to the location, the trip is perfectly combines with a visit to the Pražská botanická zahrada (Prague Botanical Garden).
